This original, one of a kind, mixed-media painting is my subconscious interpretation of the expression "a little bird told me". One can only wonder what the message is.

on the origin of species

This is an original, one of a kind, acrylic painting. It started as a pen drawing on a textured canvas panel; created in a sort of dreamlike, meditative state where I let my pen scribble randomly upon the canvas until images emerged. This painting is my subconscious tribute to Charles Darwin, who wrote his famous "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life" in 1859.
